Looking the Part

As we all know every bride wants to look their absolute best on their wedding day, but brides always intend to remember everything else for the wedding except to treat themselves and make sure they look on point.

For example, get your eyebrows done, add some lashes, get those nails sparkling and make your face look and feel fresh and clear. I understand it is a lot to take in, but that is why we would like to make things easier.

  1. Use the right skin care products
If you struggle with bad skin and do not want to walk down the aisle feeling insecure about your face, make sure to use the right skin care products. Not 3 months prior to your wedding but as soon as your start planning. Your skin takes at least 3 months to adapt to a new skin care product. It will always get worse before it gets better. If you have tried all types of skin care products it will be best to see an expert, as they will guide you in the right direction.
  2. Skin care routine
Do not go to bed without removing your makeup as the dirt builds up and causes your pores to block and in turn causing your skin to break out. Wash your face twice a day applying a day or night moisturizer after every wash.
  3. Facials and treatments
It is always a good thing to do facials and treatments on your face, but take note that all skin types are different, some can do a facial with no allergic reaction or breakout where others can have a different reaction. Do a test run on your skin in advance, get to know what your skin likes and dislikes.
  4. Drinking a lot of water
I know that a lot of people think, how? Ladies, drinking water has so many benefits, it is good for your overall health like digestion etc. Not drinking enough water daily will lead to dehydration that makes your skin look dry, tight and flaky. It makes it so difficult for a makeup artist to correct dry or flaky skin. Make sure your skin is always hydrated and moisturized.
  5. Eyebrows & Lashes

This makes such a big difference on your wedding day. Make sure to shape, tint and wax your eyebrows to make things a little easier for your makeup artist. Having a lot of blonde hairs or regrowth will stop you from having that flawless look and lastly, lashes – they add a little more drama to your eyes especially on the photos. Your can instantly see the difference in your makeup as soon as you add lashes whether it is extension or strips. Find something that is most comfortable for you.

Following just a few of these beauty tips is sure to make a difference to your overall look and confidence on your big day.
